1. About Lisa Spa
Lisa Spa ("Lisa Spa", "we", "us") operates lisaspa.ca, a platform connecting clients with independent certified mobile wellness providers ("therapists") offering body contouring, massage, reflexology and related treatments across the Ottawa–Hull region.
2. Bookings & cancellations
Bookings made through this site are requests until confirmed. Treatments take place at the address you provide. Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule; late cancellations or no-shows may be charged. Prices shown exclude applicable taxes and may change.
3. Membership
Membership requires a one-time enrollment fee and a 6- or 12-month plan with a monthly rate reconciled per treatment completed. Unused monthly treatments roll over within your membership term. Household members may use your member pricing. Membership pricing and benefits may be updated with notice.
4. Therapists are independent providers
Therapists on this platform are independent professionals responsible for their own certification, licensure and insurance. Lisa Spa reviews new treatments before listing them, and requires therapists to attest that they hold the certification and insurance required for each service they offer. Lisa Spa is not the employer of freelance providers listed on the platform.
5. Therapist terms
By using the provider portal, therapists agree to: (a) hold and maintain valid certification and insurance for every service they enable on their profile; (b) provide services professionally and safely; (c) keep client information confidential; and (d) notify Lisa Spa immediately if their certification or insurance lapses. Misrepresentation of credentials is grounds for immediate removal from the platform.
6. Health & suitability
Treatments offered are non-medical wellness services. They are not a substitute for medical care. Inform your therapist of any medical conditions, and consult a physician if you are unsure whether a treatment is suitable for you (for example during pregnancy, or with certain medical devices or conditions).
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lisa Spa liability in connection with any booking is limited to the amount paid for that booking. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Payments
Online payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe and PayPal). Lisa Spa does not store your card details. Interac e-Transfer payments are confirmed manually.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
